Hello! Searching for a roommate to move in to a modern Logan Square 2 Bed/2 Bath. I'm replacing a roommate who has decided to move in with her partner. The available bedroom has a private bathroom and walk-in closet!
I'm a 31 year-old Chicago native (he/him). I'm an accountant at a bio-tech firm downtown and would describe myself as a "social-introvert". I enjoy indie films, live music, cooking, and dining out! I'm currently working from home 2-3 days a week but will eventually transition back to the office full-time once it is safe.
I have no preference for sex/gender/gender identity for a roommate. Ideally, I'd like to live with someone who is on the quieter side, clean, and easy to communicate/socialize with.
I like to keep the common areas clutter-free and try to clean once a week. I have people over infrequently but don't mind guests as long as there is communication. Hello! Searching for a roommate to live with in a two bedroom, two bath apartment on a residential street right off of Logan Boulevard. The rehab of this building was completed in 2016 with new hardwood floors, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, and in-unit HE w/d. An application with the management company (Mo2 Properties) will be required and the lease term will be 07/01/21 to 06/30/22. Rent is $1012/person and utilities run about $100/month per person (gas, electric, and wifi). There is no security deposit or move-in fee. The bedroom and bathroom will be cleaned prior to your move-in.
The available 12x12 bedroom has a private bathroom and large walk-in closet. The living room is furnished with a 4-seat couch, coffee table, media cabinet, side chair, and a small dining table. You will be responsible for your bedroom furniture. The unit gets a lot of natural light throughout and the building is pet-friendly.
The California and Logan Square blue line stops are each about a 15 min walk away and the #52 bus runs a couple blocks away. I-90 is only a few blocks north. There are two Targets within walking distance. There is free and easy street parking available. There is also bike storage located in the entrance of the building.
The neighborhood is quiet and safe, but there is plenty of nightlife a short walk away. There are great bars and restaurants like Lula Cafe, Lost Lake, and Cellar Door provisions nearby. The are is very pet-friendly with a dog park within walking distance.
