I am looking for a new roommate for my apartment in the East Village starting April 1st.
About the apartment:
The 7 room apartment has 2 bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, and a really big kitchen. It used to be 2 separate apartments that got merged into 1 large unit, so both bedrooms have a ton of privacy and space.
The kitchen is really big and has a dishwasher, so it's great for someone who likes to cook. The bedrooms have street facing windows that get a ton of natural sunlight, and since the apartment spans the whole building, there are also windows and a ton of natural light in the kitchen and living room.
The place is a 5 minute walk from the L, R, W, 6, F trains also a few bus lines if that's your jam.
About the neighborhood:
The east village is basically the best place in Manhattan. Everyone wants to live here because it's amazing!
The great things within a 3 minute walk include: tons of restaurants and bars, a 150 year old spa, Tompkins square park, multiple year round farmers markets, Eliza Hamilton's house (if you're a history buff... it's a bar now), community gardens and mini botanical gardens, some of the best off-Broadway theaters in the world, speakeasies, comedy clubs, all of the insanity that is St Marks, and the east river waterfront.
I could type for hours about how great this area is and I'm more than happy to answer any questions about it.
About me:
I am a pretty chill 30 year old guy who moved to NYC almost 4 years ago. I am originally from Philly, but lived in Chicago before NYC and spent about 18 months traveling between Chi-town and NYC. I recently started working in fintech as a product manager and am normally out of the house from at least 8-6 every day.
I'm fairly easy going and keep the apartment clean. Occasionally I'll have a few people over, but not for big parties or anything like that. In my spare time I like to go to the gym or run (I'm a bit of a fitness enthusiast), brunch with friends, ski, check out museums, see live music, just chill in a park, or get out of the city and hike in the summertime.

We think Jeremy ’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…
