Hi - I’m a native New Yorker who ended up needing to break a lease with my long-time roommate who’s relocating to FL for work.
With no one in my immediate network moving apartments at the same time (I’m looking for a 1/5 - 1/15 move in) I’m exploring the market for roommates as I don’t feel too excited to pay $3500+ for a studio apt that would meet my standards.
I’m agreeable with most things, easy to live with, very clean, and consider myself very hospitable/generous.
In the evenings, I enjoy a few glasses of vino, good convos, and a movie every here and there during the week. Of course I respect solitude as well.
I do have a solid friend group in the city consisting of college friends and hometown friends where you’d be more than welcome to join our escapades.
I will be upfront and say, I’ve had my fun and am no longer a consistent party person. So, I’m rather quiet, calm, and collected during the week, and keep it rather light on the weekends. I wouldn’t live with someone who consistently wants to host people or seems to be a night owl.
I am a big dinner person and know great dinner spots/wine bars. I also know many cool speakeasy’s/cocktail lounges for a drink and good vibes.

Available Room for Rent
Roommate needed
I’m looking for a roommate to apply with and to take the second bedroom. This is a large apartment with ample space! Some pictures of the apartment were added, I couldn’t figure out how to add the video, but can send you a video if interested.
This is in a luxury building in the heart of Financial District with amazing views (41st floor apt.), gym, pool, workspace, lounge, 360 solarium rooftop (you can see all of Manhattan, Brooklyn, Jersey area, etc.).
I’m ideally looking for someone ASAP as this is available immediately. Flexible move in day from now - Jan 15th. I’m working with a broker who can show you the apt. The landlord pays the broker fee.
Upfront cost would be first month rent and security deposit (this building also uses theGuarantors for deposit coverage where only 6%-33% of the security deposit needs to be paid).
