About Me

3 rooms available 3/1/25!!!

3 rooms available 3/1/25!!!
Tl;dr: join our house of leftist queerdos! Move in 3/1
Total move in costs: first, last, and deposit; last and deposit will be paid to current lease holders.

About the house:
The house is a five-bedroom home located near 18th and Willamette. It’s spacious enough that the five of us generally don’t get in each other’s way, however, this house is not a great fit for couples, and we prefer to limit overnight guests to three nights per week, though we’re open to discussing exceptions as needed/ we are open to considering couples interested in two rooms.
The three available rooms won’t be open until March 1, so the photos currently reflect furniture and aesthetics which will likely change. We welcome any furniture you’d like to bring, as long as it fits within the space, and there is some additional storage available in the garage.
The house is not very accessible. We are a very sensory-sensitive household. If you have specific accessibility needs or concerns, we are happy to discuss how we can best support you.
This is a 420-friendly house, and we welcome both recreational and medical cannabis use in shared spaces and personal rooms, with the expectation that all use is respectful and consensual. Because of this, the house is not a good fit for those in recovery or those with small children. Neither current occupant drinks, but we welcome social drinkers who are mindful of their consumption.
As an intentional community, we value open, direct communication and strive to create a home where everyone feels heard and respected. We encourage regular check-ins to ensure that household agreements remain supportive of everyone’s needs and we aim for monthly house meetings.
About the lease:
This is a sublet arrangement with the landlord’s full knowledge and approval. You will be taking over a lease that runs from March to September, with the option to renew in September. While we prefer someone who plans to stay through September, the landlord is flexible.

About the rooms:
Room 1 is located downstairs and measures approximately 11x12.5 feet. The rent for this room is $700, which includes wifi and trash.
Room 2 is located upstairs and measures approximately 8.5x11 feet. The rent for this room is $670, which includes wifi and trash.
Room 3 is also upstairs and measures approximately 9/15, The rent for this room is $670, which includes wifi and trash.
Currently, rent includes wifi and trash but eweb is a separate charge, ranging from $70-$85 per person per month.

About us:
Both E and A are Agender, use they/them pronouns, and are Queer, neurodivergent, and sensory sensitive.

E is a late 30s graduate student working an internship in Eugene. They live on the ground floor, so the occupant of Room 1 will share a bathroom with them. They plan to continue living here until summer of 2026. They have one cat and 2 guinea pigs. E enjoys cooking for others, hanging out in the yard, and plans to start cultivating mushrooms in the next few weeks.

A is in their early 20’s, and works at a DSP. They have one cat, who so far has been restricted to their room, but we are hoping that she can have more freedom once we’re settled. Those living upstairs will share a bathroom with A. A enjoys hanging out in the common spaces and making art.

About you:
You are a Queer, leftist, weirdo who wants to live with other weirdos. While we would love to welcome your ESA, A’s cat really needs time with no new cats in the house; we definitely welcome your small animals in cages. You are gainfully employed and can comfortably pay rent, whatever that means for you.
It is really important to all of us that we are on the same page about what values we are bringing to this space; we have created a simple questionnaire that we ask you to fill out; we are happy to provide our own responses to the same questions.

While the space will not be available until 3/1, we are available to show the house now. If possible, we like to do a phone call ahead of showings. Pictures available upon request.
