About Me

I am moving to New York to pursue a master's degree in Historic Preservation at the Pratt Institute, beginning in the fall 2024 semester.

I'm a curious reader often juggling several books at once, a chorist of greater will than talent, a retired snow sculptor, and an assiduous attendee of the performing arts, film screenings and exhibitions of all kinds. I'm also a cook of uneven fervor: sometimes preparing sumptuous multi-course meals or solving nutritional matters roundly through a weekly meal-prep session during periods of academic overwork.

I appreciate a calm environment that can also hold moments of conviviality. I expect to be mostly occupied with my full-time studies and managing my homesickness, but wish to be involved in creating a sense of belonging in our shared home.

I have a quiet, friendly temperament and I have often been involved in participative management structures. I do not easily succumb to panic, preserving what certain commentators have described as an “Olympian composure" under stressful situations. I respect the boundaries of others, do my best to maintain a good emotional hygiene, and am open to communizing food and/or meals.

My maximum monthly budget 1,100
