I have been a teacher for 3 years and teach at a high school within walking distance from my home. I drive and have a car. I love music and interior design! I like to go out to happy hours and love a good brunch.
Would love to find a roomate who I can be friendly with but also respects each other’s ‘me time’.
I keep my home clean and would like to find somebody who does as well.
I love plants and am very grateful that my place has TONS of natural light. The home is furnished so you would just have to furnish your room :) I am open to adding more stuff/removing stuff etc to best suite each other’s styles!

Available Room for Rent
2 bedroom, PLUS study, PLUS huge plant room with french doors. 1500 sq ft
I currently live in the place and my sister has recently moved out to move back home to Indiana so I am looking for a roomate. I have lived here for almost a year and LOVE it! It is very quiet, safe, and family orientated neighborhood.
It is the top floor of a duplex (separate access and everything else!)
The kitchen is fully updated with a washer/dryer. There are three bedrooms and an additional room that I use as a large plant room/lounge room.
Although there are three bedrooms, the third bedroom is used for storage/study, if the other roomate would like to have an area for a desk etc or whatever! There is one bathroom that would be shared amongst myself and the other roomate. All the common areas (kitchen, bathroom, sun room, living room etc) plus study are free access for both myself and the other roomate and are fully furnished!
Essentially, I use the space as a 2 bedroom, 1 study space PLUS an additional large plant room (it has french doors!). The entire place is full of natural light and the furnishings are beautiful if I do say so myself lol
My place is located in Kensington, right next to the Park Slope area! Prospect Park is within walking distance!
The rent for myself and the other roomate would be 1,500. All utilities included except for electric and wifi which generally run to be 80 each in total each month.
The common spaces are all fully furnished so the only thing you would need to furnish would be your room!
