David C - $1,100/month

About Me

Hello,
My name is David Capps, and I’m reaching out to see if you might be open to renting two bedrooms in your home. My 21-year-old son and I are relocating to Dallas while he completes his college education, and we’re looking for a peaceful, stable home for the next 3 to 4 years.

A little about us: I hold a master’s degree and have over 25 years of experience in healthcare, social work, and caregiving. I now run a small healthcare consulting business and receive steady Social Security income. My son is a full-time college student with part-time work and is also developing a small business that already has several clients. We’re both quiet, responsible, and respectful individuals. We do not smoke, drink, or use drugs, and we both have clear criminal records.

We’re specifically looking for a quiet, clean, and comfortable home environment in a safe neighborhood—something that offers more peace and stability than a typical apartment setting. Our lifestyle is calm and goal-oriented. Our day-to-day life is very simple—we both work, I do some online consulting, my son attends college full-time, and we make time for exercise and staying healthy. Outside of that, we live quietly and stay focused on our goals for the next few years.

We currently own a home in El Paso, which we’re renting out while choosing to live in Dallas to give my son better access to educational and career opportunities. As a long-time homeowner, I’m very comfortable with basic home repairs, maintenance, and lawn care—and my son and I would be happy to assist with general upkeep or basic tasks like taking out the trash or running errands if helpful.

I also have family here in Dallas, including professionals in healthcare and agriculture, which is one more reason we’re excited to settle in and stay grounded while my son completes his education. I’ve made the decision to leave my hometown so that my son can have access to better opportunities—both in education and in life. I believe that once you meet us, you’ll understand the sincerity behind our journey and the focus we have on building something better for his future.

We’d be happy to meet in person, provide references, and answer any questions you may have. Thank you for your time and consideration.

Sincerely,
David Capps
