Carla L M - $1,200/month

Hi! My name is Carla (she/her), and I'm a recent college grad with a degree in theatre arts just tryin to live the NYC Broadway dream. I was born in Spain, and moved to California when I was about 6 years old. I still have a lot of family in Spain, and I try to visit whenever I can.

Before the pandemic hit I was working as a a stunt pirate at a dinner show in Buena Park, CA but since we got shut down last March I decided to take the leap and move to New York City.

I'm looking for a place in Manhattan that is ideally close to all the acting and dance studios (Hell's Kitchen, Chelsea, UWS, etc), but I'm not set on that. My budget is $1200 including utilities.

My ideal living situation would be with other people my age (open to any gender-identification) where we could eventually become friends. I am constantly described as "the life of the party" and I wear that crown with pride! I love to have a good time especially with roommates. I love having drinking game nights, movie nights, etc. And when it's safe to go back out into the world I am absolutely going to be out and about having fun and meeting new people!

I also do want to work on my craft, and plan on taking weekly acting, voice, and dance classes. So my days will be filled with that and work. I'll be moving to the city without a job, but I have experience working as a hostess at a couple of restaurants so I'll be looking for something along those lines once I move.

Sorry if this is way too long, and props to you if you made it all the way to the bottom!! Hopefully I sound fun to somebody out there hahaha (If you couldn't notice I talk A LOT)
