I'm a Marketing professional in my late 30s who is easy going, fun, tidy and dependable. I've been living with an amazing lesbian couple for the past 10 years, which has worked out wonderfully (I was the best man in their wedding, and godfather to their son). So ideally it would be nice to find a roommate that is interested in having a "home" not just renting a room. Personal downtime and having our own space is a necessity for sure, but breaking bread and having a few cocktails on the porch after work from time to time would be a nice bonus... I love to cook and have a strong social circle, so I do occasionally have friends over for dinner & cocktails, but tend to keep it pretty low key. Definitely not a party house, but I think someone that was also fairly social (As opposed to very introverted) would be a better fit. I am LGBTQ+ positive and open to male or female roommates, however living with females seems to have worked out the best in the cleanliness, responsibility and vibe department. Respect and open communications goes a long way in nipping any potential conflict in the bud. I've been lucky in that I have never actually had a bad roommate experience, so living drama free with stable / sane people is the most important thing for me. Anyway, if you would like to hear more, just ask!

Seeking 1 roommate only to share 3 bedroom - 1 bath 1200 SQ Ft 2nd floor apartment in West Roxbury, right next to the commuter rail. It would only be the 2 of us as roommates, the 3rd bedroom is a guest room/office. There is a Sunroom and a good sized deck off of it, great for outdoor eating or watching sunsets at the end of the day with a cocktail. Utilities are included and there is in unit laundry and storage space in the attic.
The area has lots of walking trails, parks, and is close to all of the shops and restaurants in W Roxbury / Roslindale.
Your bedroom is 13x9 ft, with two sun-drenched windows and two closets. The main areas are currently furnished, but you would definitely be able to add your own decorative touches.
I'm very easygoing, tidy, and love to cook. I have a great social circle, so I'm not necessarily needing to be best friends, but it would be great if you liked to break bread / have a few cocktails on the porch from time to time and make it more of a "Home" than a rented room.
I'm open to both men and women, but have had the best luck living with female roommates... LGBTQ+ positive
