Kyu W - $1,300/month

I'm a clean, respectful and considerate person to share space with. I lived for 5 years in Japan, and am currently in Boston getting ready to start at NYU in the fall. Home is a place where I can relax (either with yoga, singing or practicing my martial arts; or watching anime, action movies or playing xbox), but recently I've been lucky enough to make good friends with my housemates and we host fun theme parties and go out together. I have two middle-aged cats who are very affectionate with sweet and silly temperaments.

Unfortunately, Kyu's last day will be Monday. Please say goodbye to her! When I first heard Kyu was leaving, I was aghast –WHAT ARE WE GOING TO DO WITHOUT HER?! Kyu in her short year here has made herself an indispensable part of our team because she never turns down any shift, is always up to try something new or difficult, and has a solution for any problem. Part of her versatility comes from the fact that she is truly a know-it-all. There is nothing that she doesn’t know. If you have a question about rare psychological disorders, kung fu, what blender makes the best smoothies, or need help fixing your computer, she’s probably the right person to ask. If you need someone to sing a duet with or are just in the mood for a good joke, she’s also the person to ask. The students love her, the staff loves her, and she truly knows everything, yet for all this love and love of knowledge, she is one of the most humble people I’ve ever met. I will certainly never forget her and wish her the best in Japan!
