Hello! I'm renting out two rooms on the second floor (stairs only) of a three family building (meaning the entire second floor of the building is one apartment — pretty spacious!)
I want to create a queer-friendly, anti-racist, creative, respectful haven for people who want a quiet-ish, homey space to relax in. I have a cat and my apartment is super dog friendly :) I hope the people I live with feel at home in a cozy and inviting space. Love whoever, ingest whatever, do and be whoever!
My COVID-safe pod is myself, my partner and his roommates, and my downstairs neighbors (who are my best friends). I am looking for housemates who take COVID seriously. Safety is Sexy!
THE ROOMS/APARTMENT - Long term (6 month sublease contract)
small room is $710 + utl. a month (fits a full or queen bed, with a dresser and nightstand quite easily. Nice sized closet inside of room)
Big room is $820 + utl. a month (fits as big a bed as you want with a small couch, desk, and whatnot! Closet located right outside the room in the hallway.)
Both bedrooms have great morning light! And we have a shared office space and kitchen and living room, and bathroom!

The neighborhood is very safe and we are located one block down from Northern Blvd, which means you have great access to Latin X food and are sandwiched between Jackson Heights and Astoria but also get the quieter vibe when home. Bus located immediately outside the front door to take you to Roosevelt Ave station (picks up many trains) and a ten minute walk to the 82nd street 7 train station.
