Young professional living in the same apartment since July 2014 with a roommate that is a pilot. My roommate is buying a house so after six years he is leaving the apartment in July 2020. The current lease ends on July 10th, 2020.
I am young professional working at GLG in downtown Austin for over six years leading a team focused in Latin America. I'm originally from San Salvador, El Salvador and moved to Texas for undergrad and stayed here since. I'm fluent in Portuguese and Spanish.
I like to go out and have drink on the weekends, so you'll find me with friends or on dates often on the east side or west sixth. During the week I typically work 10-12 hours days, workout on most days, so I typically just go home to sleep during the week. I tend to go to sleep around 9pm or 10pm to wake up and go workout around 6am; I can wear earplugs if necessary.
Outside of that I like to sail, travel for leisure, I ride a motorcycle, play squash, weightlifting/workout. I'm planning to go to business school in 2021 so a lot of my time right now is studying for the GMAT and getting my applications in the fall.
I would like to have an 11 month lease as I will likely leave Austin around late May 2021. I am also considering taking a sabbatical from work around November-December 2020, so I am considering subleasing during that period (not set in stone).

2 Bedroom, 2 Bathroom Luxury Apartment in the top floor with a balcony overlooking downtown. It is the Post South Lamar (Phase 1, the original phase) right across Chilantro and One2One Bar.
I live in the master bedroom and I am looking for a roommate to take the other room. The apartment did not come with a washer and dryer but I got them for the apartment. You would be able to use it.
I have a dining table, the apartment comes with a movable metallic island, and have a table and chairs on the balcony.
The apartment is in the top floor in the corner, so we only have one neighbor to the side. Your room does not have any neighbors, so you do not have to worry about being loud.
1200 square feet with plenty of bookshelves for your stuff in the common area. You have your own private bathroom.
I like the apartment cold (especially at night) so you should be ok with the temperature being 65F-72F range.
Open to guys or girls, no kids, ages 25-35.
Between Google Fiber and Electricity it is about $200-$250/month in total
