Hello, my name is Seña.
I moved to New York from Seattle two years ago and I’m just out here trying to do my best.
I do visual/merch for retail. Hoping to get out of this role and into something different but I’m not sure what yet. I was in school, planning on going back but that’s something I find myself saying a lot rather than doing.
I’m pretty fun and easy going. I just ask for some cleanliness but I’m not a Mary Poppins or anything. Sometimes I leave dishes in the sink and my floor hasn’t been mopped in about two weeks. But I do sweep almost everyday.
Preferably looking to be good friends during this but I’m not gonna force you to hang out or even watch a movie with me but since moving here I’ve felt really alone and hoping to change that.
I don’t eat meat. I eat pretty plant based. If you respect my eating habits I’ll respect yours.
Also only own one pan and one pot. I don’t know how to adult clearly.

We think Sena’s room is fantastic! But in case you want to see more…

Forewarning, this is to sign a 12 month lease. Not a month to month situation.
I am on a current lease with someone and it’s up in January. I’m looking for someone to take over her part and renew the lease for another year. The rent is stabilized. When I first moved in two years ago it was $1100, then last year it went up to $1135.75. So I would imagine it only going up to about $1170ish. But that is only a prediction. If you do choose to sign the amount will be disclosed to you prior to signing of course.
I do have Wi-Fi, it’s about $44 a month so your share would be about $22.
My roommate and I would usually split the utilities, gas and electric, (water is free) and that worked for us.
Photos were taken when my first roommate moved out so it’s kinda messy. As you can see as well not a lot of counter or cabinet space but I’m willing to look into carts and such to create more room. As you can see from the photos as well that the third bedroom as worked as a “large closet “ space for us that of course you can use as well. Also if you want that room instead of the one my friend was in that can be changed.
When we first moved to the apartment, my previous roommate and I considered getting a third roommate, but the apartment is just too small for that. The bathroom and the kitchen could not hold more storage for more than two people.
I’m a pretty clean person especially when it comes to shared spaces so would like someone who is the same.
I do have a couch but it’s not the comfiest and don’t have a coffee table either but am willing to go half on one with you. Didn’t get much furniture because my future in this apartment has been so uncertain for a while but I am wanting to make this apartment a true living space.
