Finding a new roommate to replace me on behalf of my three roommates, as I will be leaving for graduate school this month. The first is a public school teacher at DCPS in her early 30's, and she enjoys camping, Latin American music, and visiting her niece. The second is a guy in his mid 20's who works at the Federal Trade Commission doing anti-corruption policy, and he enjoys Call Your Mother Bagels, book clubs, and FIFA. The third is a woman in her early 30's who works at the American Bar Association, and she enjoys paddle boarding, the Radiolab podcast, and playing with her cat, Lucy.

Available Room for Rent
Large, Sunny Bedroom in Rowhouse in Petworth
We have a sunny, large (12ft x 16ft) bedroom available on the third floor of a 4-bedroom, 2.5 bath, 3-floor row house for 1037.50$/mo. Utilities run about 90$/mo. I am leaving for grad school, but there are three other friendly, fun-loving roommates (2 women early 30s, 1 guy early 20s). The room was repainted just last year and comes with a queen-sized bed and large set of drawers, if wanted. The bathroom on the third floor is shared with the one other bedroom on the floor. The washer and dryer are one the second floor. Every floor has hardwood floors, high ceilings, and central heat/AC, and the kitchen has granite counter tops, a large fridge, and a gas range.
The home is one block from the Georgia Avenue-Petworth Metro station on the green and yellow line. There's a CVS right on the corner, and (when they are safe again...) many great local restaurants and bars nearby, Midlands, Hook Hall, Homestead, and Thai Pantry. The Safeway is three blocks away, and the Target, Giant, and Washington Sports Club in Columbia Heights are a 15 minute walk away.
