Huxley - 37, F : Originally from Texas, have been living in the Bay Area for about 14 years. I work full time as a food stylist. I am an upbeat and social person. I enjoy going out to try new restaurants, traveling, dancing, and going to the gym. I try to get outside as much as possible. I enjoy hiking, camping, paddle boarding, fishing, and kayaking. I am typically out of bed by 6 am and in bed by 10 pm. I appreciate a clean and relaxing home environment. I do not care for clutter and clean the house regularly. My partying days are behind me, but I may have friends over occasionally to share a meal, watch a movie, or play board games. I have a 7 year old Doberman Pinscher named Bambi. She is house broken and crate trained. She has completed several training classes and knows many tricks. I have taken extra care to socialize her with other dogs, cats, and children. She can be stand-offish when it comes to meeting new people, but once she warms up to someone, she is very loving and loyal. My lease stipulates no pets, however, my landlord has allowed this dog as I have provided favorable references from past landlords and ESA documentation. No other pets are allowed, but my dog has love to spare!

About the house - 1,290 square feet modern home. 2 shared full baths. Large living room with floor to ceiling windows with remote controlled blinds. Beautiful deck with ocean view, perfect for sunsets and whale watching. Gas fireplace, dishwasher, washer, dryer, small yard with fire pit. Hardwood floors throughout. 2 parking spaces - one garage, one driveway + street parking. Landscaped front yard (gardener comes monthly, included in rent). The common spaces (not the bedroom) is furnished. I have a full kitchen (plates, wine glasses, pots & pans, etc), dining room table and chairs, outdoor furniture, large tv, couches, etc. You are welcome to use anything of mine. House also has Nest thermostat, automatic door lock, and I have set up Google home and Philips Hue Lights. You can also turn on the Roomba with your voice. Utilities including high speed internet average about $250/month to be split three ways.
About the neighborhood - quiet and safe neighborhood, no loud neighbors and very little street noise. The best part of living here is all of the hiking trails, beaches, and outdoor space. Great spot for cycling and surfing! The house is a 5 minute walk to Mussel Rock beach, and there are a lot of other trails close by. Some of my favorites are Mori Point and Milagra Ridge. Manor Plaza and Fairmont Plaza are less than one mile away and have everything you could need - grocery store, bakery/coffee shop, gas station, pharmacy, post office, as well as a couple cute restaurants and dive bars. I work out at 24 Hour Fitness on Ocean, also about a mile away. Skyline Plaza and Serramonte shopping center are also close by. Colma and Daly City BART stations less than 10 minute drive away. SamTrans bus stop within walking distance. SFO is 15 minutes away, and downtown SF is a 20 minute drive.
About you - Willing to sign a 12 month lease. $2000 deposit + first month’s rent due at signing. Must be able to pass background check, provide employment verification, have good credit and favorable references. No pets and no smoking. These are the conditions stated by my landlords. Be financially responsible and considerate of the house and its contents. Clean up after yourself, and leave things as you found them if not better. Respect normal quiet hours and personal privacy. Be flexible, able to compromise, and communicative. Ideally, we will have similar schedules and lifestyles. Must love dogs!
