Hope you're all doing well.

I am looking for a Room Mate to share an apartment within the Morningside Area. I am looking for someone responsible, - a grad student / working professional / Ph.D. Candidate to share the Apartment with.

Brief Background:
I grew up in New Delhi, India, and completed high school there. I then moved to the US (Michigan) for my Undergrad majoring in Computer Engineering, minoring in Physics, Mathematics, and Computer Science, graduating in 2004. I then worked in Minneapolis for 4 years, and then went on to Grad School for a Masters's in Quantitative Finance (UIUC). I then moved to DC in 2009 and worked in Consulting for 4 more years.

After 14 years in the States, in 2013 I moved to Bombay, India, and started working there in Financial Risk Management. I spent 4 years in Bombay, then 4 in Bangalore. In 2021 I moved to New Delhi where I currently am. I was supposed to be back to the States, NY for another Masters in 2020, and then in 2021 - but COVID struck.

I am currently an Associate Director in Financial Risk Management with KPMG having previously worked with EY, IBM, and Oracle.

I am now moving back this May to attend Grad School at Columbia for my 2nd Masters. Primarily to pivot from Financial Risk Management to working at the intersection of the State and Markets, where there is an institutionalized miscarriage of justice going on. I’ll by studying Economic Policy Management and Central Banking and Financial markets to put me in a position where I can hopefully influence, or at least have a voice to advocate prudent and just Economic Policy, or perhaps look at the World Bank or the UN in Sustainable Finance, or maybe Social Impact Funds and enable Social Enterprise.

Personal Details:
I am 40, but still, have that spirit of my 28-year-old self. I have 16 years of experience and am a true Professional. I am organized and clean. I do not smoke or drink. I was born a Hindu but am an Athiest and a Liberal. My three favorite hobbies are Philosophy, Tennis, and Physics. And I use Philosophy to understand life, my place in it, and how best to navigate the world I inhabit. I am happy to share any more details that you might require.
