Private Furnished Room in large duplex apartment

Large furnished bedroom available in large duplex 4 bedroom, 1.5 bath apartment with large common area/living room in a 3 family house on Decatur Avenue off of Bedford Park Blvd. in Bedford Park. My parents own the building and furnished the apartment, and live in another apartment in the building.

It's a five min. walk to Fordham University, and 15 minutes to Lehman College on foot. Easy access to the D and 4 trains and Metro North. The Botanical Gardens is also close by. The room measures approx 11 x 12 and includes a full sized bed, desk, chair, dresser and closet. We could put bedroom furniture in storage if you prefer to bring your own. Heat and hot water included and roommates split Con Ed, about $25/month each at this time without AC. You can bring AC, and contribute more to the electric bill.

The room will be available at the end of August (Aug. 28). We’re looking for someone to stay at least 11 months. Guarantors are welcome.
