I work in the Film/Television industry as an Assistant Director, living in Crown Heights. I have lived in New York for almost 6 years now. My work schedule takes up basically all of my time when I am on a shoot, while having extended periods in between jobs during which I'll spend my days reading, taking online classes, and exercising. I like to cook (just got a new cookware set) and I like things to be fairly clean (but I don't get too bothered by a little mess). I am looking to live somewhere that is a slight upgrade from my current apartment. I have a lot of furniture/appliances that I am not too attached to, but they're ready to move into a new place. I'm a huge movie fan, but also love to watch sports (especially football).

Available Room for Rent
$608.35-Very nice room available in 3 bedroom apartment!
This is an incredibly spacious home with a sectional couch, television, wifi, and fully functioning kitchen (including a toaster, coffee maker, pots/pans, and oven/stove). I have lived here for 1 year and am renewing the lease with one other friend. We are looking for a 3rd person to join us. The very cheap $608.35 rent includes the water bill (we all handle the gas and electric). The house is clean and everything is in good condition.
We are directly between the Utica Avenue stops on the 4/3 trains and the A/C trains. Both stops have express service and are very reliable. The neighborhood is very safe with a police station 2 blocks away from the apartment. There are also plenty of food options around along with bodegas and a couple of grocery stores.
Another bonus is that the landlord is never around. He is very relaxed about us as long as we make our payments on time. This is a March 1st move-in, and all that is required is the first month and security deposit (1 month). This apartment is one of the best values for the price in town and I have greatly enjoyed living here.
