My name is Alex and I am ISO a roommate who wants to live in the lower Manhattan area with me! I have lived in my current building for a year now and am renewing the lease. It is in close proximity to everything basically, with an easy ability to go wherever you want in Manhattan and Brooklyn (ACE, NRW, L + BDFM access within 10 min). The older but maintained + charming building really does feel like a nice respite amidst the chaotic bustle of downtown. :D
Some things about me:
- I am really into the interior decoration of the space/living room and would hope to collaborate on it, or that you would be open to my ideas + vice versa.
- I don't cook much so the kitchen is pretty available to you. thus I dont dirty up too many dishes
- I enjoy hosting people/having people over pretty often. I would hope that this could be an apartment that hosts a good amount of events and feels lively.
- ^added onto that, I consider myself quite social and would hope to foster that vibe/open dialogue and banter with a roommate.
- I'm a photographer + writer; very open to other artistic types even if not by trade.
- I do like to listen to music pretty late at night and sometimes it may be loud -- but please communicate that with me if it bothers you! I am very flexible. (fav music: Aphex Twin, lana del rey, eartheater, boards of Canada, Hole, crystal castles, and much more:) )

Charming bedroom for rent in Greenwich Village
Hello! My name is Alex (23F) and I am ISO a roommate with whom to share my lovely apartment space! We are located on 8th St on the "west" side (meaning just to the west of 5th Av!) and amidst one of the most convenient and accessible areas in the city. Living here is not only a nice respite from the noise of downtown living, but also provides such a perfect, easy jumping point from which to go anywhere you desire in Manhattan and in Brooklyn especially.
I am so excited about this building because it really does have some vital amenities, yet still feels a little bit historical and old (in a good way), as it was originally built in 1921! The unit boasts an in-unit washer/dryer and dishwasher as well as an AC. Your room would have a fairly large walk-in closet and a window AC (and of course a window!) We would share a spacious bathroom. I hope this appeals to someone out there and I will tell you much more information about my experience living here if I receive a message from you!
