Luxury 1B1B (Flex) located in Long Island City
Hello! I am looking for a male (preferably mid-to-late 20s) to move in as a co-tenant/roommate in my 1B1B unit sometime by the end of August. Signed the lease in May 2024 and ends in April 2025.
The apartment is located in Long Island City and the gross rent is $3,485.20. This unit is on the 8th floor with a private balcony and tons of storage, including a walk-in closet. Additional, but also optional, monthly fees are $100 for amenities and $75 for in-unit washer/dryer (the apartment has its own laundry one floor below the lobby). Some of the amenities include a gym, roof terrace, private movie theater, game/media room, library, courtyard, a children's playroom.
*Note*: The $175 amenities + in-unit washer/dryer fee is already applied to this unit*
The rent is split ~60/40. I am planning to add a flex wall to accomodate two people, where $2200 is the portion for the private bedroom space and $1460 is for the flex living space. I prefer the flexed living space, but this can be negotiated in future conversations.
The building is a 2-4 min walk to the N, 7, W and E, M, R stations, and it takes 15 minutes to get to the city! It's a convenient location with lots of great options for quick bites and grocery/convenience stores.
