I am a left-leaning liberal 52-year-old (going on 35) heterosexual male who has lived in the city since 1997. I work for a cybersecurity company as a graphic designer downtown but currently am working from home. I have lived in this place since 2003! Wow, that went fast. I spend my free-time bingeing new cable series, playing and recording music, doing art projects, cooking, learning new software, or enjoying outdoor activities like fishing and camping. However, with the pandemic, I have become more or less a homebody. I am an honest person and typically in good spirits. I indulge in both; smoking marijuana and drinking the occasional pint (or three) of beer. If either of these things is an issue, this is probably not the right opportunity for you.
Safety: Due to the pandemic I’m looking for a thoughtful person who is willing to work to come to a consensus on safe behaviors to prevent catching or spreading the coronavirus and can be trusted to abide by those behaviors. During the pandemic, my household has been very cautious with physical distancing, mask-wearing outside the house, limiting trips outside the house, and constant sanitation to protect the health of all occupants and I expect my new roommate to be too. I am open to exploring all options towards ensuring a safe and healthy move-in transition that makes us both feel safe.

The apartment sits on the 3rd floor of a 3-flat unit and measures roughly 900 square feet. There are wood floors throughout the home with the exception of the kitchen and bathroom which both have tile. The apartment has two bedrooms, a storage room, and one small shared bathroom. The kitchen is of medium size, with a full-sized refrigerator and gas stove. It has a nice sized living room with bay windows and tons of natural light. Finally, it features a sweet backyard! :) The apartment requires some furnishings as the last tenant took about 1/2 of the furniture. The apartment is a non-smoking household (pot okay).
It’s walking distance to Lucky’s, Falletti’s, and Bi-Rite, as well as all the stores and restaurants up and down Divisadero. Panhandle, Alamo Square, and Golden Gate Parks are all within a short jaunt. It has a Walk Score of 97/100. A good Transit score of 67 with the 21 and 5 lines within steps of the front door. Finally, it has a great Bike score of 77.
The Negatives:
The apartment is great but like most old SF places could use a little TLC.
The bathroom is shared and small.
There is no laundry on the premises however great laundromats within two blocks
