Hi, I’m Sway (she/her)! I’m a 39 year old queer woman in the process of conscious uncoupling after a 6 year relationship. I will be moving into my colleague's gorgeous 3:3 condo on Barton Springs Blvd., and while I am better off financially than I’ve ever been, I have discovered I can’t place a house on my own in Austin anymore. Boo! Looking for one roommate, and the third room would be office space to share.

I'd like to be friends who support each other and also live our individual lives while cohabitating. I’m pretty particular so please read on to see if we might mesh. Happy to hear about and try to respect your peculiarities too! Hooray for knowing yourself!

About me:
I’m a project manager for an education non-profit. My job is reliable, and I am very responsible with money. You will never have to worry about me carrying my weight financially. I work from home 3 days a week and from downtown 2 days a week.

Sometimes I travel within Texas for work for 1-4 days at a time; if you’d be down to feed/hang out with my cat, it would help me out. I can offer the same when you travel if you have a pet. If you have a dog, they will need to be the chill type.

I can be really sensitive to external stimuli like sound and smell. It makes the world a challenging place for me, so my home needs to be a reprieve from that.

I go out social dancing (2-step, blues, swing, tango, etc.) usually multiple evenings a week. I come home quietly, usually eat something, and go straight to bed.

I do not like having a lot of people in my home. If you're seeing someone or want a friend over here and there, as long as they respect our space and I have a heads up, I'm totally cool with that. Communication is everything. But I'm not comfortable with a rotating door policy. Again, home needs to be a sanctuary.

Hobbies: dance, cooking, cycling, quality tv/film, cat hangs, fitness.
