Room to rent in Bed Stuy/Bushwick
Hello! We are two guys from Chicago in our early 20s who have recently moved to NYC and are looking to rent the third room in our three bedroom apartment in Bed Stuy. My name is Elliot and I am doing a master's program at the New School and the other roommate, Jacob, works in the service industry. The apartment is extremely spacious for New York with more than enough room for a party or to have some friends over and we have fully furnished it (television set, sofa, dining table, kitchen appliances, etc.). We're very well connected transportation-wise, being just a 5 minute walk from the Halsey Street J train and a 10 minute walk from the Ralph Ave. C train, making a commute into Manhattan or elsewhere in Brooklyn a breeze. Additionally, we are just a 15 minute walk from the heart of Bushwick, making it a perfect place to be if you want access to the nightlife and general excitement of Bushwick. The room itself is spacious and well-heated and the area is very residential and quiet, making it easy to get a restful night's sleep.
In terms of lifestyle, we want someone who is clean and respectful of the space, but who is fairly relaxed and is alcohol, tobacco, 420-friendly, as well as okay with the fact we're night owls. We are both pretty sociable and would like someone who we can be friends with, but are still comfortable with someone who wants their own space. We love indie rock, chess and basketball so anyone who shares these interests are more than welcome to apply :-)
