Native New Yorker, living in Queens. I am looking for a roommate to join my 3-bedroom apartment in Woodside, Queens. You'd be sharing with me and another roommate. We are cleanly, friendly, and we work full-time (from home). I work in media industry, other roommate is a teacher.
Our place is accessible to many train lines and midtown Manhattan is just a 25-30 min commute. Lots of groceries, restaurants, pharmacies, laundromats in the area. Great location and apartment. $833/month for the room: 12ft. by 7ft. with a large closet, unfurnished.

1 Bedroom available in 3Br Apt in Woodside
$833/mo for 12 ft. by 7 ft. room with a large closet in Woodside, Queens. This is a 3-BR apartment with 2 other roommates, and is spacious with plenty of sunlight. There is a large double living room, dining area and a separate kitchen and one bathroom. *Room is unfurnished: bed and table not included*
The neighborhood is perfect—quiet, safe, and accessible to everything.
-There are multiple train stations (7, M, R) within a 5 min walk, and an LIRR and LaGuardia Link right at the 7-train station (easy access to airports).
-Commute to midtown Manhattan is 25-30 min.
-Multiple 24-hour groceries, restaurants, pharmacies, laundromats, etc. in the area.
-Our super is great, fixes everything and loves us.
-We’ve been here over 4 years, it’s a great place and location and that’s why we’ve stayed as long as we have.
A bit about us—2 roommates in our early 30s, male and female. I work full-time for a media company and the other roommate is a teacher. I fully work from home and she is a hybrid of WFH/on-site work (as teachers are required to do right now). We have not traveled outside of the state nor plan to. We have been safe and healthy and comply strictly with all COVID protocols—wearing a mask outside, social distancing and only going out for essential needs. We expect the same from any potential roommate. We are all friendly and generally have a great rapport and respect for each other’s space, especially in these times. We’re looking for someone who also wants to share a safe, respectful, clean and friendly living environment.
Heat/water included in rent. Utilities (gas/electric) and Wifi come out to about $60/month per person.
Room can be available Feb. 1 or March. 1 (or in between may be possible)
