I am a retired teacher living in a private house in central Denver. I have lived in my house for 23 years and have been renting rooms in it for 20 years, usually to Montessori students at the summer institute. I am quiet - read, garden, entertain modestly; non-smoker, no substances, a glass of wine in the evening. I travel a lot and am sometimes gone at the weekends - so it would be essential for me to find a room mate who is responsible and can take care of the house and cat while I am gone - no parties. I am friendly but would not expect to provide much social interaction with a room mate. Montessori students on the two-year summer training sessions have tended to return for the second summer as they have been happy and comfortable here.
Cat lover essential with cat care needed when I am out of town.

I am offering a large, fully furnished room with private bathroom, use of well-equipped, light kitchen, washer/dryer, large patio and yard. There is off-street parking in the driveway. The neighborhood is quiet and safe, great for walking and biking, and close to shops, restaurants and RTD stops.
You would have to be a cat lover prepared to take care of my cat if I am out of town.
