My name is Autumn (26F) and I relocated from Phoenix, AZ last summer. I have an ESA certified dog that is medium sized named Oakley and I rescued her in Phoenix a couple years ago. She’s really sweet and takes a few seconds to warm up, but then will be quickly asking for pets and loving on you.
In my free time, I sing in a choir, like to stay active and explore with my dog, bake, and try out new restaurants. On the evenings, I usually like to get out of the house because to get my social fix in and have the occasional night out. I do have friends over for small get togethers like playing boardgames or cooking din!
I’m very clean and would love to be friendly with my roommate and cook home meals together or other roomie plans.

🏠 Apartment: 2bd1ba 2nd floor walkup above a (really yummy!) restaurant. Each bedroom has a personal living room so you’ll have plenty of space to yourself. The common space includes the bathroom (which is small but has lots of storage and great water pressure) and the kitchen (fully stocked with appliances, and plenty of space to cook)
🛏️ Your Room: Your half of the apartment faces away from the street, so it’s quiet. It also features two joined rooms, a large closet, and overhead storage.
💰 Monthly Rent: $2100 + WiFi (~$30pp) + Electricity (includes water and heat ~$30pp in winter, ~$60pp in summer)

🚇 Subway: 1 min walk to Nassau G (handy when you want to travel via Queens), 12 min walk to Bedford L
🛒 Groceries: Lots of neighborhood little grocery stores nearby, 20 min walk to TJ’s in Williamsburg, 15 min walk to Whole Foods, 9 min subway to TJ’s at Court Square

About Us:
Autumn (she/hers): Hello! I’m 26 years old and am originally from Texas, but went to school at Cornell. I decided to move to NYC last summer after living in Phoenix. I work for a software company in the semiconductor industry and work from home. I usually stay at home during the day with my dog, so I can have plans in the evening. Recently, I’ve been into baking, thrifting, running (I’m training for a half marathon!), Broadway shows, and dog training. I also sing in a choir and am always down to play a boardgame! I like to stay active with my dog either walking, running, or training.
🐶 Oakley (female/spayed): Oakley is a 3yo medium sized bully breed rescued almost 2 years ago in Arizona and then moved to NYC with me. She can take a couple seconds to warm up, but then she’ll be playing with you and begging for pets in no time! She sleeps for a majority of the day, but loves to go on walks in the neighborhood and cuddle up on the couch.
We're Looking For Someone:
* Who is a dog-lover and would be comfortable watching Oakley if I’m out of town for a short time (I also use a dog sitter)
* Who has no other pets please!
* Who is open-minded, kind, respectful, and great at communicating.
* Who can keep a clean space and share the mental load of making our place a home
* Who is comfortable with having friends over, and welcoming to visits from friends from out of town
* Who would love to form a friendship with us! But if that does not happen we still want a supportive and friendly environment
