Room in a luxury building on a sunny, tree-lined street in Brooklyn

I'm looking for a roommate in a gorgeous luxury building on a tree-lined street in Boerum Hill. Optional furnished or unfurnished. Move-in date flexible.

The room is spacious (13'10"x10'1" with a generous closet) and gets tons of light (Bedroom #3 in the floorplan). It is available either furnished or unfurnished (with a bed, desk and lamp) and available starting any time after February 1st. Bedroom #2 is rented out to another young professional in her late 20s. We're both vaccinated and request that you are as well.

Rent would be $2000 + $200 utilities. A longer term rental would be ideal, but I'd be open to a 6-month stay. Honestly, if you like the place, make me an offer and I'll consider it.

The apartment is a large, corner unit with 2.5 bathrooms (so you can always use the guest bathroom if one of the others is occupied), a WASHER/DRYER IN UNIT, and a crazy picturesque view of Cobble Hill. It's just a few minutes walk from all of Smith Street and Court Street's shops and restaurants (great for take-out or outdoor dining), the Brooklyn Heights Promenade, as well as all of Downtown Brooklyn's subways (2/3 at Hoyt, A/C/G at Hoyt-Schermerhorn, F/A/C/R at Jay-St/Metrotech, and 4/5 at Borough Hall).

The building is amazing. Full-time doorman, super and handyman. Gorgeous common roof deck with professional grade barbecues (we're also getting a fire pit installed in the spring!), library (great if you need a change of scenery for remote-work), and ridiculously large gym. Utilities include premium cable (including HBO, Showtime, Netflix, Amazon Prime and Hulu), central air, gigabit wifi, and a housekeeper who comes 2x/month.

I seriously love this place and I hope you will too.

About me: During Normal-Times, I work in Manhattan and am often out and about, seeing shows, taking dance classes or trying new restaurants with friends. In Covid-times, I'm working from home (tho was experimenting going into the office 2x/week till Omicron... will probably get back to that in another month or two), and doing a bit more cooking and Netflix-ing than normal, but I'm also hanging out with friends in parks or on the roof deck, taking lots of walks, and kicking ass at Zoom yoga. I try to keep things relatively neat (though I'm definitely not perfect), and I like having someone to chat or have a drink with after work or while we're hanging out in the kitchen.
