I'm an Australian musician/singer-songwriter signed here in the US.
I've spent the past 6 years out here touring writing and recording and for the last 4 years New York has been home.
I am a quiet, clean, non-smoker, and I'm allergic to dogs and cats, so this is a pet free house.
I work long hours and while I do like having time by myself to write, I am also very social. I'm friendly and easy going, and love to cook.
Since the pandemic hit, I have been taking social distancing, mask wearing and hygiene seriously and am looking for the same in a room-mate.
While this isn't a party house, pre-COVID - friends were always welcome, and I did like to have company over for drinks or the occasional dinner party on the rooftop in summer.

LARGE SUNNY ROOM (with private rooftop)
I’m looking for a flat mate to share my beautiful 2 bedroom apartment (with private rooftop!) on the Lower East Side.
The apartment is on East Broadway near Rutgers, conveniently located on the border of the LES and Two Bridges, Traders Joes is a short walk away, just a 15 minute walk to SoHo, steps from the F train, surrounded by some of the best restaurants and bars New York has to offer included Mission Chinese, Dimes, Bar Belly and Forgtmenot.
The room has two big windows, a built-in closet, and is furnished with a queen sized bed, side table and a mirror (all of which can stay or go!).
There is exposed brick throughout, hard wood flooring and the bathroom and kitchen (with dishwasher!) are newly renovated. We also have a private rooftop (with a BBQ)! I am the only tenant with access!
The apartment is on the top floor of a small building (just a three flight walk-up) so it’s like I have a private, open air, second floor!
The landlord is lovely, and while there’s no laundry in the building, there is a brand new laundromat directly below just two doors down.
Flexible move in date. Available now, but would also consider a September 1st or October 1st move in date. Will consider a 7 month term but would prefer to find a roomate who is looking for something more long term.
