I'm a California transplant, moved to NYC for grad school and stayed for work. I’m a pediatric pharmacist at a NYC hospital. Laid back, clean, communicative, open minded, and respectful. Not too many pet peeves (just clean up after yourself, no wet bathroom floors and no shoes in the house!). I kept the laid back Cali vibes, but I still like a tidy home. No drugs use, non-smoker, but I do occasionally drink socially. I'm a super easy going person. Both a morning and a night person, but not too particular about other people's sleep habits (I sleep like the dead). My schedule varies (I work a combination of shifts on days, evenings, weekends and holidays). Hobbies: traveling, reading, eating, gym/yoga/cycling, trying new things.
Ideally, I’m looking for someone to stay at least a year; a non smoker, I'm a dog lover, but no pets per unit owner. I've had many roommates over the years and have become close friends with all of them. The key is respect and lifestyle compatibility (with regards to cleanliness, communication, boundaries, etc). Would be great to have someone with a complementary/compatible personality who I could be friends with as well as a roommate. Since my apartment is fully furnished (common areas), my place is ideal for someone who doesn’t have a lot of spare furniture.
