About Me

Hi! My name is Alexandria, and I’m a professional in my mid-30s looking for a safe and walkable neighborhood to call home for the next several months to 1 year. I’m responsible, clean, and respectful of others’ space, and I value open communication with roommates to maintain a peaceful living environment. I’m organized and reliable, and you can count on me to always pay rent on time. I have a lovely, well-trained 7 year old dog who is calm, friendly, and quiet.

I’m seeking a private room (and preferably a private bathroom) in a house or apartment in a safe, pedestrian friendly neighborhood near Downtown Houston. My ideal location would have:

• Walkability to parks, restaurants, and shops.
• Proximity to public transportation for easy commuting.
• Access to green spaces like Memorial, Buffalo Bayou or Hermann Park.

Neighborhoods I’m most interested in include Downtown Houston, Upper Kirby, Midtown, Montrose, Museum District, River Oaks or Lower Heights. My budget is about $800 or less per month, but I can be flexible depending on location and amenities/utilities. I am seeking a stay of 3 to 12 months.

I enjoy a healthy lifestyle and like to start my day with meditation, exercise, or a walk with my dog. I currently work in hospitality as a hostess and am planning to return to school within the next few months, so I appreciate a calm and clean living space to focus and recharge.

Let me know if you think we’d be a good match!
