I'm a 28-year-old woman working in the design industry and living in Bushwick. Currently I live with one other roommate, a 29-year-old woman working at a nonprofit. Both of us currently work from home. In our free time we like to watch movies, read, hang out in our yard, cook, and unwind with a bottle of wine (in pre-covid times I'd add going out to eat, going to concerts and going to museums to that list). As roommates we're pretty laid back - we like to keep things neat but aren't clean freaks, and we hang out a lot at home but will respect your space whenever you need it. I also have two cats who are super sweet and well behaved.

Room in 3BR/2BA Bushwick duplex with central AC + private yard
Room available in charming 3BR/2BA Bushwick duplex apartment starting September 1! Looking for a long-term subletter through the end of our lease (8/31/2021) but open to short term stays as well. Apartment has all-new appliances including dishwasher, central AC/heat, a private backyard, and a washer and dryer. We're a 5 minute walk from the Wilson L, 15 minutes from the Halsey JZ, and a few blocks from Irving Square Park. Rent is $1100 + utilities. Room will be unfurnished.
Room measures 8x14’ and has big windows with great natural light, high ceilings, hardwood floors, and exposed brick. There’s no closet, but it currently comfortably fits both a dresser and a clothing rack with a full sized bed, and could easily fit up to a queen sized bed. Bathroom with full tub will be shared with one other roommate.
Your roommates would be two women in our late twenties who are both working from home, one for a nonprofit and the other in the design industry. We're spending a lot of time at home during covid and can confirm this is a great place to social distance. Must be LGBTQ-, 420- and pet-friendly (we have 2 cats who are very sweet and well-behaved). No couples or additional pets please.
