Roommates: We are two women in their late 20s and early 30s, working in education. We’ve been living together for 2 years, with one of us having lived here more than six years. Both of us cook most days. We are neat and organized and each do our part to be respectful and keep the common areas clean. We’ve never run into issues maintaining a clean bathroom or kitchen and we're looking for the same from you. Obviously, having people working from home — and being home the majority of the time in general — during a pandemic can make a NYC space feel tighter. One of us has been living out of state with her family and will be spending most of her time there for the foreseeable future until schools open up more completely. We’re hoping to find someone looking for a quiet, clean place to take our third roommate’s spot as he leaves at the end of our current lease. And if you also happen to have a Netflix/Hulu show recommendation we somehow haven't already gotten to while stuck at home, even better! lol

Neighborhood: Hamilton Heights is a great, quiet neighborhood, and we live on an absolutely beautiful, neighborhood street. There are restaurants, bars (remember those- lol) grocery stores, and bodegas all over the neighborhood so there’s easy access to lots to do, but our street itself is quiet and lovely. We have a small park right on the block for a quick escape from the work from home life, and live a quick walk from beautiful Riverbank State Park on the water. We also live a 3-4 minute walk to the ABCD trains at 145th street, and a 7-8 minute walk from the 1 train on Broadway.
If you’re interested, please provide some basic info and describe yourself so we can see if you’d be a good fit.. If you want to tour the apartment in person, we’d simply ask that you wear a mask while you’re here. Virtual tours can be arranged, if preferred.
