I'm getting called to the BC Bar in May (I've passed my bar exams and just need to complete the 12 month articling period which will be over in May).
Financially I'm very secure, but I would like to save as much money as I can so I can stop working and pursue other interests.
This is my second career. Previously I worked as an NDT inspector in Northern Alberta (mostly Edmonton but also Fort Mac).
I'm single and have no pets. I have never had a roommate and have always owned my own place or rented an apartment. Unfortunately, paying a high rent or buying a 600k condo doesn't match my 10 year plan to quit law haha.
Right now I'm working at a firm in Burquitlam. I'm open to renting in Surrey, New Westminster, Coquitlam and Burnaby.
I spend most of my time at work and never work from home.
