My name is Dawson and I am an assistant principal at an elementary school in Colorado. I have taught elementary school for 9 years and am currently in graduate courses for my Masters degree in education. I am originally from Ohio, but moved to Alaska and then to Denver in 2020. I love to travel and stay active. I try to hike, run, or bike everyday I can. I love to ski, camp, paddleboard, and explore. I enjoy sports, craft breweries, trying new places, music, and reading. I am always down to try new things, like to play games, and take advantage of cheap flights to new places anytime I can.
The space is quiet and calm. I like to hang out and will occasionally have a friend or two over but never more than that unless a special occasion, like the Super Bowl or Kentucky Derby parties I host and cook for. The space is great to work in if you need to work from home. I am gone all day Tuesday-Friday and try to get out and do city or mountain activities on the weekends.
I am a clean, trustworthy, fair, and responsible person that is easy-going and keeps their areas organized and tidy. I am also kind and considerate, especially with your privacy. I am also easy to communicate with in regards to issues or concerns. I am happy to set up a meet to have a drink and discuss the possibility of being roommates.

North Denver Home
I own a house on the Northside of Denver. It is a 2 bed, 1 bath house with a fenced backyard and garage. The property has easy street parking right in front of the house that is never occupied. The backyard is fenced and you are welcome to sit out on the patio to hang, have a drink, read, eat, smoke, etc. There is a grill and a garage as well. You would be welcome to use the garage for some storage, including a closet for ski/snowboard gear. The kitchen, bathroom, and living room are shared spaces. The living room has a large mounted tv and streaming/live tv options. The bedroom has a closet with shelving and a mounted tv. (I can remove the mounted tv if you would prefer to use your own.) I also have a washer and dryer that is brand new. And an outside clothesline if you want to air-dry. Dining room table and two couches are in the shared dining room and living room area. The house is located right beside the 19 Bus line that runs directly to Union Station. We are also a 3 minute walk to Save-a-Lot for groceries. I love this place because we are a short walk to Sunnyside/Highlands, but also right off I-70 to get to the mountains for hiking and skiing. The house is fully furnished, with the exception of your room, but I am open to design/changes to help you feel more at home. I love this property because of its location and its fenced in yard for games and hang outs. We are also a half mile from 51st and Zuni park which has excellent skyline views and is a great spot to walk to. Several breweries, coffee shops, and food options are close by and the bus line helps to get around if you want to leave the car behind.
