Very large bedroom in nice, sunny apartment in Lower Nob Hill (rooms & shares)

The apartment:

4 minute walk to Union Square. Very large, mostly unfurnished bedroom, though there is a futon couch and a nice table in the room. Centrally located neighborhood, near many of the wonderful neighborhoods of San Francisco i.e.: Chinatown, North Beach, SOMA, Market St., Embarcadero, and The Financial District. You can walk or bus just about anywhere in San Francisco very quickly from here. Laundry is conveniently located inside the bldg. The apt. is also next door to a Walgreens, a dry cleaners, several restaurants and a Trader Joe's Grocery store, just a few blocks away. This is a great location.

This is month to month. Prefer someone to stay long term.

Bart, Bus and Muni are all very close by and super easy to get to. Car parking garages are located all over the neighborhood, for monthly fees. Street parking is available over night, during specific times and days, per downtown San Francisco norms.

The room:

Size: Extremely large, sunny room with windows facing the street, and a very large walk in closet. The room is comfortably distanced from the kitchen and the bathroom. It is furnished with a table and a futon and has room for lots more.

Price: $1,115 a month rent, with all utilities included, except $51 a month additional charge for the Internet. Security deposit $1,115. Total move in $2,230.

If and when you wish to move out, I will need a minimum of a full one (1) month and (1) one week notice (a week before the day rent is due), which is the 1st of the month. I ask for more notice, if at all possible.

Only small pets please - like fish for example. sorry, no cats or dogs.

No drama.

No smoking tobacco products.

Melissa, but everyone calls me Forest. :) San Francisco Bay Area native, female, young at heart, open minded, busy, super active and a professional DJ. I love computers, audio / video, DJing, music, and social networking. When we are not in COVID-19 - My evening and weekend job is: music, DJing, and promotions. I sometimes practice at home, but I can keep my door closed, and after 11pm I watch the volume, and especially on weekdays. I am pleasant and easy going, but it is ideal if you are ok with a very busy roommate, who tends to often be working, even at home. I often work from home at night and on weekends. I am relatively clean, and tidy, but not over the top. I appreciate a relatively neat and tidy apt. mate, but not over the top.

Currently, due to COVID-19, I am much more reserved and have been sheltering at home since March. I tend to be a night owl, and work nights at my full time day job. I have been working remotely the past 3 months. My day job is as lead Macintosh Edit Lab Technician at The Academy of Art University. When we are not in COVID-19 I work a lot, and am quite busy all of the time.

I am a peaceful, trustworthy, responsible, thoughtful, and respectful person, and ask that you be as well. When we are not in COVID-19 times I ask that you please keep your guests mostly inside your room and parties outside of the apt. I do not mind if you party, but there are a million places to party away from the apt and wish for the apt. to be a place where it is relaxing, homey and a non-party environment. During COVID-19 times right now I am looking for an apt mate that is following shelter in place rules and being safe, so you do not bring the virus into the apt. I am doing the same.

Criteria preferences:

Female, prefer 24ish or older who is employed full time. I am looking for someone who is responsible, respectful, calm, easy going, and able to pay their part of the rent plus half of the Internet bill on time each month. Love of music, the arts, EDM, and culture a big plus! Pre COVID-19 I always preferred a busy and active person however these days I need an apt mate who can be careful, clean, cautious and safe. Once things go back to normal we will be able to relax about stuff.

I do prefer no outside shoes in the apt, and def during COVID-19, so we will take our outside shoes off at the front door to minimize tracking the virus in.
