Law student looking for a third roommate because my little brother is moving out. I have a 2 bedroom in Northern Liberties. Apartment has 12-ish foot ceilings, exposed brick, and large windows with natural light.
Up to 6 and 2/3 month lease (could move in as early as December 10, prorated to 2/3 of rent. Lease ends July 1. I hope to renew but it will depend on where I get a job.
Apartment is 2 bedrooms, 1.5 baths. Apartment is over 1,300 square feet and has lots of amenities (pool/gym).
The apartment is honestly awesome. This is our second year here. The amount of space and things that come with the apartment can't be beat. If you like dogs, you'll really enjoy having Loki around. Walking distance to grocery stores, restaurants, Fishtown, Rivers Casino, the Fillmore complex, Penn's Landing, etc. Easy to get on the Ben Franklin and 95, the list goes on.
I have another roommate. He's 30, a chemist, and spends a lot of weekends at his girlfriend's apartment. He lives in one of the two bedrooms. I live in a makeshift bedroom in the living room. The apartment is huge, so there's still a large living room.
In apartment washer/dryer. Central air and heat. Living room has views of the Philly skyline, bedrooms face the Ben Franklin Bridge.
Rent would be $1,200 per month including utilities/wifi. Shared spaces are shared spaces. I'm around the apartment a decent amount (someone's gotta walk the dog). I'm friendly and normal. Busy with school and the job process (and again, the dog).
Love to hoop and if you can play, join our men's league team.
Rent: $1,200 per month (I will double check the lease, but the room is around 488 square feet and has a large walk in closet).
Address/Pictures of everything to be provided if you're interested, as well as our lease.
What I'm looking for:
1. background check;
2. social media and/or references (LinkedIn preferably and one other with friends. Just want to know you aren't a serial killer and you aren't a social pariah)
3. first/last month's rent ($2,400 all-in, no security deposit, rent due last of the month you move in so if you move in January first, other payments would be due January 31, February 28, March 31, April 30).
Those are the baseline details. Really just looking for someone who won't be a dick and can pay rent on time. We're easy going dudes.
