Private room available on the ground floor of a 3 bedroom 2,200 sq ft duplex in Rockaway Beach. I live in the basement and there is a lovely couple occupying the other room. Only you and I will share a bathroom, mainly just the shower because I have my own ½ bath downstairs. The other roommates have their own ensuite bathroom. Shared common spaces would be the open kitchen (microwave & dishwasher) and living room (fully furnished) which receives beautiful natural lighting (great place to work, study, and read a book) The unit offers central AC and heating. There is also gym equipment available to be used for a home gym.

You would be ½ a block away from the beach/boardwalk. Perfect for a stroll, run, bike ride, swim or surf (best break is on 86th). This is a great oasis for someone looking to work from home. Waking up and taking a stroll on the beach while sipping your morning coffee is the best way to kick off your day before a busy day at work. If you are commuting to work, the train, bus, and ferry (free shuttle available nearby) are all within walking distance. Also great for med students and medical staff looking to work at St. John’s Episcopal Hospital (15-20 min drive)

A little about myself: I am a registered nurse. During my off time I enjoy cooking and would not hesitate to offer my roommates a plate of food. I have 2 dogs. Dobie the doberman and Bailey the shiba inu. Dobie’s a big doof ball that just wants all the pets. Bailey’s a cat trapped in a dog’s body (you’ll know exactly what I mean when you meet her). They mainly stay downstairs in the basement. I am also a very neat person and ask that my future roommate be considerate and respectful of keeping the shared spaces as such. I am friendly, outgoing, and excited to meet my potential new roommate.
