Hi there! I’m a 21-year-old undergrad majoring in business administration with a concentration on marketing. I was born and raised in TriBeCa, but I haven’t been back to NYC in YEARS. With my family having moved out of the country, I’m embarking on this journey alone.

I’m searching for a roommate and a comfortable place to call home. My budget is around $800 to $1,000, though I’d prefer to stay closer to $800 if possible. I’m flexible with the room size and furnishings—it can be small or unfurnished, as long as it has a window, since I’m a bit claustrophobic. While I won’t be home much and don’t consider myself a homebody, I’m open to building a friendship with my roommate, maybe sharing a movie night now and then. I’m perfectly okay with having guests over, as long as I can lock my room for privacy. Noise doesn’t bother me either, so a lively atmosphere is just fine.

I’m also very open-minded and easygoing—I’m comfortable living with a couple, and I’m LGBTQ+ friendly and pet friendly. I don’t have any allergies, and I take pride in being clean, organized, and respectful of boundaries. Clear communication is important to me, and I always aim to give early notice if something comes up.

Ideally, I’d love to live in the heart of city, whether it’s in the lower or upper parts of Manhattan, or somewhere with a quick and easy commute to Midtown (preferably within 10 minutes). The farthest I’d consider is Long Island City (Hunters Point), as long as there’s a convenient metro line nearby for commuting.
