$1,500 Room in Fort Greene Brooklyn 9/1/20 -Month to month flexibility
Hello! One room is available for rent in this 2 bedroom unit. The lease begins September 1st and could be a 1 year or month to month agreement. I have lived in this apartment for 3 years and am pretty cool with the landlord, who lives in the building. The location is on South Portland Avenue, right in the middle of Fort Greene. The unit is the 3rd floor of a 3 story walkup - it gets plenty of natural light. The apartment is less than a 5 minute walk to the C, G, N, Q, R, 4, 5, 2, 3, B, and D trains and super close to Target, Stop and Shop, and Whole Foods. The neighborhood has plenty of sweet restaurants and bars and the apartment is right in between Fort Greene Park and Prospect Park. The room is open right now if you wanted to move your things in early.
The available room has a bunch of space (more than enough for a queen bed and a desk) and a large closet as well. The room is in the back of the apartment away from the street so it is nice and quiet. There is a window ac unit that you can keep or get rid of. Internet and utility bills are split and the landlord is cool with taking rent payments through Venmo.
