Hi there,
I'm in the late 20's, work in film and real estate ( I'm part of the building's management). I have an extremely friendly cat in the apartment. I am open to adding another cat if you have one.
I usual jump between home and local cafes, sleep at my boyfriends most of week, and I sleep here on the weekends. I work early in the apartment on Saturday / Sunday - Again, I don't want to wait up to a strange guy / girl every Saturday morning while I'm working in the living room. Someone single and doesn't do that, or someone in a long term relationship preferred.
420 is fine if door is closed and window is open.
I'm very easy to get along with, but if your going to be an idiot I won't tolerate it. In my experience, I think being too nice and not forward enough has made my head ache more than it needed too so I rather be honest so we can all save time and energy.
Looking forward to hearing from you !

First and foremost!
The building is awesome, and the community is super friendly. There are free amenities including a gym, yoga room, movie theater, bike storage, laundry ($), lounge, two roof accesses and parking ($175).
Now down to business.
My name is Laura and this will be my third year in this apartment. I consider this my home, and am strictly looking for someone that travels a lot, or has a very busy work & lifestyle. Definitely someone that understands roommate etiquette, doesn't bring the party home, and is 100% drama free.
I work from home so that is pretty much why I am strict with what I want. I don't want to wake up to see your dirty dishes. Like a bartender would reset their bar for the next person coming in - I appreciate when the common space is "reset" after being used (cushion and chairs pushed in, dishes in the dishwasher, table and stove wiped down, etc. Also someone that understands how to rinse and recycle. For some reason my prior roommates are completely oblivious as to how to get rid waste, so it's become a pet peeve.
I've gone through 10 years of roommates, so I have expectations.
The two rooms available are $1117 and $1167. Both have their own A / C & heat units. Both don't have closets, but are big enough for a couple armoires, etc. Both come unfurnished.
Utilities are around $100 per person a month - National Grid, Con Edison and (fast) Optimum. I usually handle the utilities and send virtual requests over Chase, or an $ app if that's easier every month.
$1117 - 16 ft x 10 ft room - large window, A / C & heat unit ( personal hallway closet)
$1167 - 12 ft x 11.5 ft with 8 ft x 4 ft balcony - VERY sunny, 2 windows/glass door, A/C & heat unit
No bedroom shares a wall with another bedroom which is a plus!
* Not looking to add any furniture to common area, but if you have kitchenware that's fine.
