My name is Molly Rockett, I just graduated from Harvard Law School, and I'm moved to New York in a sublet room on September 1st, to start working as an public interest attorney attorney for a legal aid organization. I'm hoping to find a room on the upper east side, close to where I work.
In terms of a little about me, I'm a 25-year-old (I'll be 26 on Sept. 10th) white lesbian, budding socialist thanks to my wiser law school friends who have generally been politically radicalizing me, and most passionate about legal aid. In addition to my job as a public interest lawyer, I actually also have a writing/research fellowship with the Harvard Law Review. I care deeply about access to justices issues and am planning to use my research fellowship to focus on income inequality and how it impacts legal outcomes.
As a person, I'm pretty quiet, very nerdy, obsessed with Harry Potter to a totally normal degree, and I own about 13 different colored sundresses, which I will stubbornly wear with increasingly heavy coats until it is about 30 degrees outside. You can take a look at my twitter here: https://twitter.com/Molly_Rockett (Though I generally only use it to yell at my Connecticut congresspeople about politics!). I was elected to public office in my hometown, and spent several years on the School Board there, before I got a bit disenfranchised with local politics and started looking for other ways to make a difference. I don't know if any of that gives you a sense of my personality, but there you go.
As a roommate, I'm quiet and clean, respectful and an excellent communicator. I don't party really at all, I'm an early riser, and I have a talent for making very good, very strong coffee even with very bad coffee makers.
My maximum monthly budget | 1,445 |
Move in Date | Feb 2020 |
Age | 26 |
Occupation | Public Interest Lawyer |
Pets | Cat |
Hometown | Somers, Connecticut |
Education | Harvard Law School |
Relationship Status | Single |
We think Molly would be a great roommate! But in case you want to see more…
