Hiya, I'm Apollo! I rent a house in South Austin along with my roommate Amity and my cat Peach Pit. We're looking for a 3rd roommate to take on the master suite around March this year (when our current roommate plans to leave). Check us out! ☆

About the house:
The whole place is a 4bed 2bath house in a nice quiet neighbourhood of South Austin.
I have the 2 smallest bedrooms, Amity has the medium sized bedroom, and you would get the master suite! The master suite is a large bedroom with a walk-in closet and its own bathroom (your rentshare would be $866/month btw!).
As for the common area space, there is a large front room (usage kinda tbd but pls weigh in!), high-ceilinged living room (with a fireplace!-- though it does need an inspection), dining room, and kitchen (with a dishwasher!).
There's also a garage with a washer/dryer, some storage space, yard + garden tools, and a good bit of workroom! This year we're really hoping to clean the garage up and get it suitable as a workspace while organizing storage to make the most of it.
Last spring I revamped the front garden and continue to care for it. I managed to grow quite a few cool things last year so hopefully we can expect more tomatoes, blackberries, arugula, carrots, and herbs this year :)
There is also a cute back porch and large backyard with the bones of an old garden from the last tenant still in place. I didn't work on it last year due to time and money constraints but am happy to help if you'd like to set anything up back there!
Amenities include: Google Fiber internet, heating + A/C, back porch (with fan!) + backyard (with garden space!), wheel-friendly ramp up to the front door, driveway and street parking, garage workspace and storage space, washer/dryer, dishwasher, range hood, fireplace (needs an inspection but it's there), as well as a walk-in closet and private bathroom for the master suite.

Who I'm looking for/ House basics:
I'm transmasc, so I'd love another trans/ nonbinary/ etc roommate if possible:) But honestly I'm down to room with anyone from the LGBTQ squad !
I'd love a roomie up for hanging out at home -- hopefully even outside of home on occasion! -- but also one who respects a balance of quiet time/ privacy as well. Hoping to be friends! (or at least not total strangers lol) Fellow artsy roomies are a bonus!
We have a big garden out back for gardening lovers, lots of workspace in the garage for artists/craftspeople, a TV and popcorn microwave in the living room for movie n game lovers, a liquor cabinet for drink wizards, all kinds of fun stuff!
Quick note that I am pretty big on the basics of cleanliness and respecting personal space/ belongings (please dont let dishes pile up in the sink, please dont leave projects lying around the living room, please dont claim all the kitchen cabinet space, please ask before using things that dont belong to you and take proper care of them, etc). Overall, personal responsibility and a respect of shared spaces and of others and their belongings is a must for me! (but let's still have fun, duh!)
We do have a roommate discord server to make communication easy with everyone's different schedules, and, ideally, we'll start up monthly roommate meetings this year to hang out, facilitate any communication, and raise any complaints. We'll also probably draft up a chore schedule of sorts so we can fairly split the necessities up! We can have a meeting at the start of things to lay everything out, start everyone off on the right foot, etc :)
We do all have different sleeping schedules -- I'm up at 5am for work most mornings and Amity works a few night shifts a week -- so the vibe is kept pretty chill and quiet unless communicated otherwise.
Alcohol and 420 friendly (but if its not edibles pls crack a window or hang out on the back porch). Smoking outside is chill too, but not inside!
I also have a cat so please be aware of that (more on her later!)

I work as a supervisor at JuiceLand (I'm away/at work around 6am-3pm, 4 or 5 days a week; expect the occasional free bottle of something-or-other brought home), as well as an artist (currently helping develop an indie JRPG and taking commissions here n there). I'm a pretty busy guy but would love to hang out and plan movie nights or play smash or something when I have the time!
I like drawing, collecting Hawaiian shirts, popping into vintage shops, reading, astrology (I'm a Taurus!), watching movies (yes I admit I'm a Letterboxd user..) + anime, playing TTRPGs + video games, gardening, and finding random events to go to in the newspaper when I have the time. Running around outdoors is pretty fun too! I used to help run a conservation project in the salt marshes of San Diego and I do miss it :')
I have a few friends in town, we sometimes meet up -- you'd be welcome to join up to come to the movies, or watch anime on the couch and eat some snacks, or whatever we're up to! If I invite anyone over to hang out, I'll definitely give a heads up though and make sure it's cool with you (and I hope you would do the same as well)!
I have a young calico cat named Peach Pit, she's super chatty and super sweet to people -- a bit nervous/defensive around other animals, but she's done okay while we crash with my mom and all her cats lol, though dogs are unfortunately a no for her. She does *not* go outside though sometimes she tries, so please please be mindful of doors, and just shut her in the bathroom or something if you need to leave the door open (to move in furniture or anything)! She's young and playful, so on one hand be careful of anything you leave in her mischievous reach, but on the other hand playing "tag" with her is great cardio lol.

About Amity:
All she asked me to type for her is that she's a college student and a night owl lol, but she's a nice and chill person who is blessedly one of the most communicative roommates I've been lucky to room with.
