🏡 Looking for 1 or 2 Roommates – Hyattsville, MD 🏡

Hey everyone! I’m looking for one or two roommates to move into a great house in Hyattsville. I’m open to people moving in ASAP, so feel free to reach out!

The Rooms:
Room 1 (Smaller) – $1000 + split utilities: 9’2” x 9’8” with a closet (4’7” x 1’5”), furnished, and windows facing the backyard (South) and side of the house (East).
Room 2 (Larger) – $1200 + split utilities: 9’2” x 11’2” with a closet (5’2” x 1’5”), unfurnished, and windows facing the street (North) and side of the house (East).

💡 Would be great for a couple! Rent both rooms for a discounted rate and use one as a bedroom and the other as an office.

The House:
This house offers a lot of space and convenience! There are 3 full baths in the house, one in between the rooms, and there’s plenty of storage space and shared areas for hanging out or working. The house also has a washer & dryer, a garage for bikes and outdoor gear, a backyard with sunlight and a grill, plus central AC and heat. Utilities are not included and will be split (Wi-Fi is $50/month, water and electric TBD).

Location-wise, you’re set:
13 min walk to Prince George’s Plaza Metro
15 min walk to Hyattsville Library
5 min bike ride / 20 min walk to Driskell Park, with access to Northeast & Northwest Branch Trails and the Anacostia River Trail to DC
5 min drive to Aldi
There’s also plenty of street parking and a driveway, plus a corner store and Chinese takeout nearby.
House Rules & Preferences:
I prefer a clean and tidy roommate. We’ll split house chores, and I expect everyone to clean up after themselves (like cleaning spills or dishes). No tobacco smoking inside. I’m open to hosting people over and occasional parties, but communication is key, so we can work out schedules for things like cooking or quiet hours. I don’t have separate locks on the doors right now, but I can add deadbolts if requested.

About Me & Who I’m Looking For:
I’m a 28-year-old male, and I’d prefer to live with someone in their 20s or early 30s (not a dealbreaker). This house would be a great fit for musicians, as I have a music area set up, but it’s not required. Ideally, I’d like a roommate with a 9-5 or similar schedule so we’re not keeping each other up at odd hours.
