About Me

I love to read, drink delicious beer, do yoga, go for a run, and watch bad TV, like American Ninja Warrior. Has strong feelings about the oxford comma and Game of thrones. Pretty chill on most things-- I firmly believe that good communication solves most issues. I like to keep common spaces tidy, but not obsessive about it. Not a crazy party-animal, but like to go out and have fun (while not on quarantine, of course). Under normal circumstances, you'll find me in the park, at the Met, or at one of the delicious breweries that BK and Queens have to offer on most weekends. These days, I'm catching up on my to-read pile, re-watching Game of Thrones, and still drinking beer from said breweries. I work for an international humanitarian aid organization in grants management and fundraising, so I'm both really boring and really interesting. I tend to work early mornings, because of time zones, but I'm pretty quiet. I will be working from home for the foreseeable future, but my desk is set up in my room, so the common spaces are still a place of hanging out.

Available Room for Rent

Great room in spacious Harlem Apartment

THE SPACE: It is a five story walk up, but that means two things: 1) you always have an excuse to skip the gym; 2) lots and lots of sunlight, including a skylight in the living room (and access to the roof, but not sure if that is approved by the landlord). Full kitchen and separate living room has everything you need to unwind (fully furnished). Newly renovated bathroom with shower (no bathtub). You will have your own, spacious bedroom (completely unfurnished) with a closet, exposed brick, and huge windows. Room enough for a queen sized bed, desk, and dresser.

ABOUT THE NEIGHBORHOOD: Vibrant area, with lots of restaurants, bars, and cool spaces to hang out. About a 20 min walk to Central Park. Close to tons of public transportation (2/3 about a 4 min walk, 4/5/6 about 15 min, A/C/D about 11 min)

ABOUT ME: I love to read, drink delicious beer, do yoga, go for a run, and watch the Office obsessively on Netflix while I can.
